The ReTooling Build is an opportunity for retirees and soon-to-be retirees to give back to their community through six days of learning, social activities, volunteerism and fun. Along the way you will make new friends, learn new skills, discover new sides of yourself and help families living in need.
Individuals moving into the second phase of their lives have the time, will, and commitment to give back. The ReTooling Build experience will deliver the opportunity to learn new skills and meet new people while helping low-income families escape poverty housing through home ownership.

Build one day, build all 6 days or build a few days - it's up to you! Whatever works with your schedule.
We encourage ReTooling Build volunteers to consider fundraising in addition to volunteering. Why? Habitat is always in need of helping hands but we are also in critical need of funding to purchase buiding materials and cover construction costs. If each volunteer were to raise $50, $100 or $250 we could raise enough money - $100,000 - to build one Habitat home. Together we can do it!
Prizes for top fundraiser and top team. Rewards will be offered for reaching and exceeding fundraising goals.
